School half -term has come and gone but during that week Scouts, Explorers and their Leaders headed out to France and Belgium for a tour of the Commonwealth war graves.
On our first night in Ypres we paraded our flags and laid a wreath at the sounding of Last Post at the Menin Gate.
The following day we went to the Vimy Memorial to pay our respects to the fallen Canadian soldiers.
Friday was a Public Holiday in Belgium and we invited the local Cubs and Scouts to join us for a day of indoor and outdoor activities.
. . . .and course we took time out to visit the Chocolate Shop!
