Hook Explorers travelled to Wokingham on their regular meeting night to try out slot car racing at the Pinewood Raceway. There was fierce competition for the title of ‘Champion Racer’ and at the end we were awarded our race ribbons.
The track was built in Latvia by Janis Nabokins, builder of World Championship tracks. It is 145 feet long, 6 lanes and with individual lane power supplies.
