Welcome to 3rd Bramshill Scout Group

We are the youngest Scout Group in the district having been established in 1979. We balance all the skills in Scouting with both traditional and modern activities giving our young people exciting everyday opportunities and adventures that build skills for life.

We have good facilities enabling our youth to enjoy a whole range of activities and our location next to the playing field on Monteagle Lane has lots of outdoor space and borders onto Yateley Common that we use. Indoor activities take place in our hall, but we also have an outdoor activity area with our very own fire pit that is enjoyed by all. We have covered outdoor shelters that enable us to spend lots of time outside throughout the four seasons of the year. We also have membership at Hawley Sail Training Centre enabling our youth to enjoy water activities there.

As with any Scout Group we are always pleased to hear from parents and adults that want to help on our exciting activities either within our sections or behind the scenes. You don’t need prior experience but just a willingness to get involved and ‘be prepared’ to get enjoyment alongside our youth. It will be definitely rewarding as we are a friendly and sociable bunch, and we can promise you it will be one of the most positive things you do within our community.

Scouting Top Awards

James is a Team Member with one of our Beaver Colonies and one of a small number to have achieved their ‘Scouts of the World Award’ in Hampshire. He is also one of an even smaller group to have completed all of their top awards in Hampshire, being the first male to achieve this feat. Well done James from all of our Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers.

Our first Squirrel Leader is invested!

Squirrels are the newest section in Scouting and run weekly sessions for girls and boys age 4 – 6 years old. We are so pleased at the 3rd to have our first Squirrel Drey and to welcome Sam as one the Team that support this youth section.
